de Niro is not underrated, he is overrated. he uses the same character in every movie. on top of that he's deranged and doesn't live in reality. He's a joke
Daddy, he’s a great actor and he’s entitled to his causes he has done more volunteer work worked at 9:11 and does causes that affect people. Edward Norton is underrated because he plays the villain very very well. If an actor succeeds as a villain, the audience automatically has a distain for them. If an actor plays the villain, but in a fun way, i.e. Anthony Hopkins in silence of the lambs, Heath Ledger or Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker, or Alan Rickman in Die Hard, then the actor is revered and can win the academy award for best actor. The audience who has a hard time getting a bad taste out of their mouth because of a really good horrendous performance, choose not to think or want to watch an actor who does that to them.
