Actually, not true California passed the law to give money to slaves and their family members! the problem is nobody in California ever had slaves. This was just meant to generate votes for another incompetent governor.

I bet they are told who actually started “slave “ownership in America. In the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1654 a man sued for the right to keep an indentured servant as a slave. In 1655 they granted him the right to ownership of another human being. Therefore starting slave ownership and trade of this type of property. The man suing for the rights was named Anthony Johnson and the man who was sued was Robert Parker. The man who was at this time still an indentured servant was named was John Casor. As Paul Harvey would say now for the rest of the story. Anthony Johnson was a black man who sued Robert Parker a white man for the right to keep indefinitely, meaning he would be a slave, John Casor another black man . How many black history books do you think have this information in them ? I would be willing to bet that they overlook this little piece of history. This would definitely be against their narrative of white people starting slavery in America.

William Ellison from South Carolina was BLACK, and he owned many slaves. He became a highland successful cotton gin Engineer who manufactured and sold cotton gins throughout the South. He and his company supported the Confederacy, where one of his grandsons faught for the South. He was the wealthiest free black in the state of South Carolina.

why aren't the descendants of Portuguese slave traders, or Spanish slave traders the ones being pushed to pay reparations, or atleast AS WELL? 😂😂 1400s and 1500s they were the big push to slavery. the first reported African slave didnt come to North America until 1620 or something. 🤔
