What a waste of time! Unless you live more than an hour from the store. For anyone else, not necessary.

I always do this, makes unloading super fast, take each container to it's designated area; in side fridge, outside fridge, which freezer, cutting table to repack meat.....I have a lot of food areas

Did anyone notice he put a bag of Doritos in the cooler? Or was my eyes deceiving me?

My grandpa always did that 50 plus years ago. Grocery store was 20 minutes away....in Hoosier summertime heat and humidity, you needed a cooler for cold/freezer items....most importantly....ICE CREAM!! He'd buy big tubs of vanilla for milkshakes and sundaes!! He was the best!!!

That is normal for alot of us that live in lower Missouri durning the summer. Its gets hot with the heat index and my milk doesn't taste thst good after its gotten warm. Plus I usually try to do ALL my shopping and stops all in one day.

Great idea! I've used insulated bags and they were okay. But I'll try the cooler. Thanks.

We never left home without our cooler. Living in the mountains in California then driving down the mountain you always needed a cooler. They would be long shopping days.

In Arizona we did this all the time but with an ice container in the ice chest. Backs of cars can get super hot sitting parked and take quite a while to cool down. Costco insulated bags are great for produce and you can use them as check out bags.
