This is in western ny it’s called the eternal flame. It’s in one of our parks you can hike down the creek and to the waterfall. It’s sometimes inaccessible because of the water flowing over it.

what I would like to know is how did that fire start in the first place? I mean there's water around. it's in between the crevices of a rock. how did that catch fire? somebody must have smelled gas and said hey I smell gas. I got a match and then boom eternal flame
