even though more pistachios are grown in the US than anywhere else in the world it would cost $30 or $40 to buy and crush this much here.

I've made pistachio brittle using the syrup for peanut brittle and it's always a big hit and not a green pigment in it. So why contaminate it with food coloring? Has anyone ever seen a green pistachio? Red and natural, yes, but not green
