I did a kindness project in December. When I saw someone do something kind I gave them a card that said: I noticed you do something kind. Thank you for being kind. Inside I put a gift card. Some were for $2.00 and some were $5.00. Not much I know but it was interesting to see the different reactions

in 90ish, I was at a Grateful Dead show at RFK stadium in DC. toward the middle of the second half, it started raining. it was called up by the band. anyway, after the show was over, we headed to the lot, where it was still raining and there was at least 2in of standing rain. these girls came through shrieking about not having any shoes because she had lost them inside. I was wear a really cheap pair of tennis shoes, I mean the $5 variety because when we started the trip, I only had one shoe and a cast on my right leg/foot. so they were basically brand new. I had to cut the cast off myself because we were on the other side of the country and I couldn't find a doctor that would remove me from the cast. since we were already at our car, I gave them to her. ran into her a couple years later at Birmingham show and she honored me with some goodies. we hit it off and well...yeah!
