We've NEVER done enough for the people we ask to sacrifice so much. Veterans return having revoked a certain part of themselves and their humanity to serve and protect on a global scale. They lead where we not dare follow, and we repay them with abandonment, distrust, and an utter lack of support or compassion. Then we say how cliche it is when a veteran dies or is killed in a tragic, otherwise avoidable way, when the cliche SHOULD be about how we have their backs the way they had ours. Whatever your politics, this needs to be a priority.

Idk the back story about this soldier, but I’m assuming it has to do with homelessness and stealing food. First of all they send our heroes home with no services, no help, just get off the plane, ur services r no longer needed! I’m so glad this judge recognized this kid’s bravery, heroism and his deserving of being taken care of on his home soil! Kudos to this judge and thank u yng man for ur service, ur sacrifice and I pray u get every service out there to help u get back on ur feet!
