Cook just to dip in sauce. The flavor of the herbs and spices should stand alone. I can understand hot sauce, but that sour cream or whatever it is you’re using, I believe is not needed. This is similar to preparing and cooking a steak well done just to add A1 sauce to it, instead of relying on the juices and the basics—salt and pepper or other spices of your choice. Blue, Rare, Medium Rare, Medium, Medium Well, and Well Done—these are different ways you can cook a steak. If you cook a well-prepared steak that is flavored in the pan with butter and spices and basted properly, there’s no need for ketchup or A1 sauce. The same applies to a well-prepared whole chicken. There’s a video of a person preparing a whole chicken, and after cooking it, they take off a piece and dip it into blue cheese or sour cream or some type of white sauce. The chicken alone should stand alone with flavor if seasoned correctly. Why would you cook this just to dip it into a freaking sauce?

It is chicken, but the type of chicken is called a Cornish hen chicken. Which is a small version of the regular chicken. 🤔🤔 I guess the proper statement would be; It’s not a regular chicken , it’s a Cornish hen chicken. 😉
