Those shelves are supposed to be empty before moving them like that. That's an OSHA violation because of the weight on the shelves that are not properly secured and top heavy and can shift causing bodily harm.Ask me how I know.

1. not all gondolas have to be bolted 2. yes the skates are heavy duty and can be used without taking off all product. sometimes in heavy product sections like pet food or beverages, some freight has to come off. 3. top row should have not been stocked or moved like that. 4. yes End cap should have been disengaged from gondola first. 5. As soon as I would have heard the popping sound, yelled stop because one or more of the skates might not be installed correctly or jacked up high enough to raise the feet up on the upright. 6. yes often done while store still open hopefully during none busy hours. First your top stock issue, top stock should only ever be stacked 2 products high, 20 inches at most. Second, one of your skates are down, but third and most importantly you are supposed to push with this equipment not pull, pulling allows for you to fall and that gondola will roll right over top of you. Please be safe Walmart teams and use all moving equipment the way it's meant to be used. In my 6 years of doing Walmart remodels I have seen some horrific injuries from not knowing how to properly use equipment. Good Luck out there and keep learning! Remodels are a blast 👍

That lady on the end acting like she actually did something was just annoying. Especially when she starts taking credit for the shelves moving, while hers didn't move at all! 😡

As somebody that worked at PetSmart for 15 years, I can tell you right now if OSHA was there every single one of them would be fired and that Walmart would probably be shut down. Those shelves are most definitely supposed to be empty because like the lady closest to the camera if she has a bad back a bad hip something like that let’s just take that as an example and she pulls that and messes her back up. That’s a lawsuit wait napping or if the shelves fall on all of them yeah yeah no nope no way in head. Could anybody pay me any amount of money to do that? Keep your nonsense I’ll find a different job.

1) Clear all items off the shelves. ☑️ 2) Remove all shelves. ☑️ 3) Have all employees attempt to relocate the shelving units. 🚫 4) Experience a sharp increase in workers' compensation insurance claims. 😩 OR 1) Work smarter —not harder— and hire professionals or specialists to handle the task quickly, safely, and efficiently. ✅

Of course walmart would have their employees moving fully stocked shelves. They have machines for registers now, no discount to show for the money they are saving because of that, they have people who don't work that were supposed to check peoples bags because of all the self checkouts and now put the only people left, who machines have not replaced.. yet, and make them move a shelf that can kill them with all that weight. I'm glad I stopped shopping at Walmart years ago.

I work for Kroger, there is no way in hell they would attempt to do this, this right here is a huge law suite waiting to happen.what happens if all that product on thoses shelfs go forward. Whoever thought this was a good ideal should be fired..

That's what I was just thinking. that's at least 20 lawsuits right there. if those shelves tip onto those employees, they should be completely emptied even if it's into shopping carts and moved a section at a time. never the way that they're showing that is so not remotely stable or safe. it's absolutely insane is what it is!
