Many years ago a couple of my employees went tumbleweed. Hunting They put together a tumbleweed Christmas tree. Sprayed it with artificial snow, lights on it. It was just beautifully! It was a conversation piece for our customers. ( owned a supper club )

the inside of the trees hold needles that are shed, the insides are brown and the 1st guy is knocking off as many dead needles as he can.
all of the dead pieces fall in the middle and you clean out all of the dead inside for a healthier more fuller tree and they grow tall
