There is no such thing as race, but there is a such thing as ethnicity, and that can be determined by your DNA. All ethnicities do not have the same genetic sequence. That's why we all have melenin, but the melenin in some is dormant. It's the same way people of African descent did not have Neanderthal DNA until Africans migrated out of Africa and interbred with Euasians who were the only ones to carry Neanderthal DNA. Small amounts of Neanderthal DNA are found in people of Euasian descent even today at higher levels than people from other parts of the world.
