👍One of my longest friendships was with a guy from the Netherlands. One of the smartest people I have ever come across I my lifetime. He was an engineer and an independant private consultant for companies like Raytheon and Honeywell that made military weapons and each department is so top-secret that when they need to put two different parts of a military weapon together, they don't allow each department or company to share information about each part, they bring in someone who only knows specifically how to integrate the parts and then they continue on with the building of the weapon. No one gets to know too much information about anyone else's product or department! While in Africa one time, he and his family had to hide in the African bush until they could get out safely by the embassy because other nations put bounties out for people that have his information and knowledge of weapons. Crazy stuff! 🤔

Woe to those who think they will ever outsmart anything in nature. The very idea of thinking to outsmart, is definitely not the most intelligent way to finding solutions. We didn't try very hard to reverse the damaging effects our species had on the environment decades ago, and I don't think we've gotten any smarter or more caring since then.
