Oh, this brings back memories! My best friend in college was a girl named Lori. Her dad was a vet and we used to go to her little apartment across from the campus. Her dad had found a baby skunk and removed it's sent glands and she kept it. "Tootsie" thought she was a cat. One day we pulled up in her driveway way to see Toptsie sitting on a filled pillow case in her door way, a cop car, a cop and her landlady by the car doubled over laughing, and some guy in the back of the cop car yelling his head off. Apparently, Tootsie was the best burglar alarm in town. That silly baby lived 16 years! I'll never forget that sweet little thing. Neither will the cop or Lori's landlady.

Many years ago, we had a baby skunk at our horse barn that never developed his scent glands. He became our mascot and hung around with us begging donut bites in the mornings. Of course, he horrified everyone who came to the barn until they met him and found out he didn't spray. His name was Pepe No Pew.
You know, it'd be nice to be able to show this to kids. To show them what baby skunks look like and how cute they are and how to take care of them if for whatever reason you have to rescue them. But with your filthy language lady there's no way I would show this to even a teenager. most as a child. you can clean your act up the next time you make a video. I think you could refrain from saying at least one cuss word while you're making another video. It would be nice. 💕 Thanks to all the other folks in this video that did not use foul language whatsoever... Thank y'all so much for sharing this sweet and beautiful video. of these precious babies.. 💕

I've watched this ten times now. no joke. I wish I had the money bc I would definitely get my licence and have one. after destinking it lol. some states allow you to have them as pets if you're certified. they even have skunk shows for the prettiest skunk like a dog show or cat show. it's crazy cool
oh no! I have a little story... My boyfriend was on a hunting trip in Montana, He had a dog by the name of Gus and Gus used to like chasing the skunks. there was a skunk in the breezeway. I slammed the door closed and Gus had gone after the skunk. well it smelt really bad. I called Jeff and said hey Gus just got hit by a skunk. he started laughing. I had to get in the shower with this dog with Dawn, tomato juice and we both, will let's say it wasn't good. I'll never forget it was a tug of war getting him into the shower. so the moral of the story is don't let your dogs chase skunks

i enjoyed raising a baby skunk until it was old enough to be taken to the creek where other skunks hung out. And yes, it had its glands intact. Never sprayed even once, but the smell was generally around it in a muted form.

Stink glans are preferred to be removed by a pet doctor. If your planning on keeping them as pets. If not wait until their grown and release them back into the wild. If you see them turn to squirt you with stink, you are viewed as a threat...run.

Skunks are out during the day while the mom sleeps and the mom comes out at night, they probably weren’t abandoned… you probably just stole a bunch of babies from their mom because you weren’t educated… they are cute though
