I have a suspicion here that mom likely WORKS HER ASS OFF to provide as a single parent and her kid doesn't have no respect for her. She misses events, likely bc if WORK, she doesn't give her kid money anytime they ask bc she's got BILLS to pay to keep that roof over their heads and food on the table. poor mama looks like she gonna start tearing up jus so stressed kids like this are overly ungrateful i was in this exact situation and acted jus like the kid but as i got older n started hanging around better ppl it made me realize how selfish i was as to argue to the point my foster parents didn’t want me in the house anymore they would have never given up always wanted me to live my best life find a husband finish school n college first then have children literally had my whole life planned out already n whenever we would get in fights like this they said the same exact thing the mother said but never meant it im living with my auntie now who is just asking caring n loving honestly yes the foster parents were way strict then they needed to be by not letting me have a phone until im 16-17, not letting me go to friends house, not even letting me go to after school programs n thats honestly what i was done with i was 13 when this happened im boutta be 16 soon!

Kids are gonna assume that you have no reason for what you’re doing, if it isn’t explained.
