That car looked like a Tesla. The model X weighs over 5,000 pounds. With that much weigh it will plow through standing street water with no problem.
Well that's how you do it if you are going to make the decision to drive the high water gun it go fast as you can that why if your car does lose contact with the road the forward momentum will keep the car going in your desired direct remember you only need one tire on dry ground to regain traction. So many people get in trouble or die when they decide to drive through high water because the try to go slow that's when their car loses contact with the road and floars away or sink. The best option is to turn around and find a safer route.
guess they have the money to replace the battery pack, cause those thing aren't completely sealed. water will get in and short out the pack or cause a fire later on.

Last week I saw a cars fenders balloon outward and destroy the wheel wells from hitting a piddle this size at 50 mph. Given that info . Safe to say that car is gonna need a check up 👍🏼

Years back on a New York Thruway I had a guy in the middle lane literally stop his car and look at this giant puddle that was in all three lanes ahead not only did he stop his car on the Thruway in the middle lane. He rolled his window down to look at it. I was in a rental 4 x 4. I saw the puddle as I drove up on the outside lane and I proceeded to keep on going, and I made surf‘s up and all I could see when I looked over in my passenger window. He had his hands up in the air, covering his face as the wake just buried him buried his car, buried the inside and all I could say was this car better not stall and I kept going
