I think the video is trying to show how time passes, things change, we are here, and then we aren't. That's just my take on it. I could be wrong.

This is common everywhere in the country now. DC is horrible, Georgia, Texas, Illinois, Michigan all of places like this that used to be beautiful and are now trashed. These are just the places I’ve physically seen but I’m sure everywhere has this type of breakdown.

That house looked dilapidated in 2014. If it was rented, landlord was doing little outside upkeep. 2022 looks like it's abandoned & trashed. People unemployed or with low incomes then & now can barely take care of their own physical needs & can't afford most repairs for homes.
If many could go back and visit their childhood neighborhoods many would be so unrecognizable! Many homes falling apart or have been torn totally down for something new! But what if people could buy back a lot of these old homes and refurbish them or old properties and build on them! Turning the communities back into familia communities

Time passes things change. Many have no children. Kids make their own lives. Families move along as they should. It’s called life !
