This is common everywhere in the country now. DC is horrible, Georgia, Texas, Illinois, Michigan all of places like this that used to be beautiful and are now trashed. These are just the places I’ve physically seen but I’m sure everywhere has this type of breakdown.

there was an elderly gentleman that sat on his porch every day that I went to work. we started nodding at each other. this went on for about 6 or 7 months. one day he wasn't there. I thought maybe he was napping, eating or something. never saw him again. a couple months later you could tell the house was empty. made me sad 😢
I hate to see this because they are some beautiful houses 🏘️ when they are fixed up they have plenty around the city and state The federal government if somebody needs to step in and redo those houses and make the neighborhood look better again🙏🙏
This is how houses thrive on us no one lives there they fall apart. Maybe the owner passed away and nobody took care of it after he passed.

Sad it happens everyday everywhere. My husband went back down home (Tennessee we currently live in Pa) after 5 years and it’s changed so drastically. Where there were small towns there is now cities. They jack up prices which forces people out of their homes, they then go through (the rich people) swoop up properties tear down houses and put up million dollar houses in their place. Or they just let the whole city fall apart

Well I am from Cleveland and I know a lot of times when the parents die and leave their homes to the children, they don't take care of the home because they were not taught or cared to. The expenses are to vast and they didn't know about home ownership. The houses were paid for by parents. But taxes and upkeep is not included.

I think the video is showing you that the owner did not keep up with the maintenance to the home while living in it, so the obvious eventually happened. My theory is that what little they did have to attempt to keep up with repairs was stolen through ‘property taxes.’ And then the home was taken by the same ‘county’ when they eventually found a number the owner could not keep up with. Took a $200,000 home from the family over $10,000 of back taxes and then auctioned it off to the families and investment firms of politicians behind the property tax increases. Pretty much the copy and paste method used across the country at this point. A certain Austrian warned us about this in a book he wrote from prison.
