lived in Alexandria Ohio and the cellar of the house was dirt and rocks, one wall had an opening you could see that it seemed like it went somewhere, I never hardly went down there because of snakes but had to go down to put salt in the water conditioner. Went to the vet and he started talking about where I lived . He said it was a grand home at one time, a doctor owned it and it has the underground railroad. I told him about the cellar, he said that was the escape route to the church up the road on the corner. Underground Railroad I learned in school, so neat to learn the history of the home I lived in. You could tell it was a grand place at one time.

I'd lived in a ? haunted house years ago.I worked at night and slept during the day, one particular day I took my children to school and went to bed, I was getting into that deep sleep when I heard my bedroom door opened, immediately I felt someone sit on my bed, I was frozen in fear and it took me a few minutes to look up and when I did, there was nothing there. Needless to say, we moved a few weeks later!

I lived in a house Tomahawk Wi, the basement had two entrances in the home one off living room one off kitchen. Shortly after we moved in I heard the door by kitchen unlatch and open. every Tuesday this would happen when kids would stay both under 5 they would ask for the bathroom door to be closed so not to see the man in the mirror. Then it happened more and more vision floats like a spirit in the window in the dining room or while watching t.v as soon as lease was up we moved out.

Stop the political crap. I was a quasi-believer for years. Then, one dawn, I was awakened by some strange presence, pushing down on me ad trapping me in my bed. I was so scared, but started screaming " I rebuke you in the name of Jesus". I screamed it several times. The presence lifted. I became a true believer that " Greater is HE that is in me. than he that is in the world." I lost fear of the supernatural, but don't go looking for experiences.

this looks like 100s of basments in new Hampshire exactly like this theirs an apartment building on bow st in Franklin new Hampshire has that exact same door and lock staircase floor I actually thought for a second someone made a video their and posted it but those doors are generally an exterior basement door someone's probably trying to brake in your house someone stupid because they didn't put im a plumber and hvac guy i live in basements most of my days are in basements and some basements are pretty amazing with the details and history of the basement i love old basements they made homes right back then I seen 200 year old homes original foundation and wood work inside and out detailed amazing craftsmanship even the basment just amazing

Somebody or something on the other side of that door seems like they are trying to open the door.. maybe it’s a neighbor from a few blocks away who found a mysterious door in their basement, opened it , saw a tunnel and started walking and then came to this door.. if you ever had that happen in your home, find a door, opens to a tunnel would you follow said tunnel to see where it goes or what’s inside? NOT me …

burn sage, get holy water and a priest to bless your home, put bear traps on the other side of that door or some kind of nice polite havahart traps, in case the door wiggler has two or four legs, and invest in a way to protect yourself in case it is a two legged stray critter. bears can rip doors off hinges, meth/crack heads have abnormal strength, many ppl have had homeless ppl take up residence in their crawl spaces and not noticed for insanely long periods of time. if that doesn't lead anywhere and can't be an animal or ppl then you have a demon, either way nothing good is on the other side of that door. rats don't jiggle doors like that!! and they can get back out the way they came in. I'm guessing it's a bigger critter like raccoon or bear, hopefully not a homeless person or demon or bad spirit. but I'd plan for every option because that's your home, not theirs, chase it out!!

I lived in a house that had activity. I had a paranormal group come in. They showed proof. I never felt negative energy. Saw it once. Others saw someone different. All others described the same person. Never negative. I always felt it was just watching us. Didn't bother trying to get rid of it.

I had a very similar thing happen in a century home I owned 25 years ago! Part of the basement was finished and part was not and creepy! It had a doorway just like this which was from the underground railroad. My house was extremely haunted! The noises from the basement were horrible. Two of my kids were just old enough to talk about a "blue man". Our dog would become aggressive towards what he saw... It was things you could not deny! light problems...water...security system! I called the police many times lol! They new the history of the underground railroad in the area. We sold the house so fast!
I would’ve never bought a place with a basement looking like that. It has horror all over it.

My old house was built in 1900. I am sure people have died there over 125 years. My ex lives there still. Our 4 year old son said he saw a 'black man' at night. What he meant was a dark shadow man. I had a paranormal person over. She said there were many spirits in the house and they watched over our son. She said she took the 'shadow man' out of the house (nor sure how that works) and my son never saw him again. My son is almost a grown man and he still remembers it.
