Gotta start doing family time at least hour to 2 hours or more! Phones down sit at a table during dinner and hear an out everyone’s day! It’s up to parents to enforce this cause people are definitely too lost in phone! In the car my kid have the job of helping me watch the road😂😂I don’t need help but heck their off their phones and we get to joking and having a good ole time 😂

I have wanted to do this so many times with people! I told my family, the next time that we have a large family get together, we need to delegate one phone number as an emergency contact number & let everyone share it with some one who's not there so anyone with an emergency can contact us. Then the rest of the cell phones, smartwatches, tablets, all communication devices should be powered off & locked away, at least for the main part of the day so people can enjoy one another's company, eat and enjoy their meals with peace and no interruptions. Children can actually play games outside instead of on their phones. I think all families, especially those with young children or teens should make at least one day a week a family, no electronics day, so they can start to feel like a real family again. I know, it probably sounds silly to a lot of people, and it's wishful thinking on my part, but I miss the days of face to face, in person time with my loved ones.
