I would have loved to hear how that idiot mayor responded if at all.
That lady, all full of tears. You can't erase that "your people" are not the sweet ppl who walk around all day, every day, helping people. They don't have ppl in their home countries that could use help? So we should let them stay. Pay for their medical, public school, food etc.... because they came here illegally and they help others who fix the same? Look, if you came to work, you can apply for a visa to simply work. Coming illegally may have been tolerated in the past but it is not tolerable NOW. Go thru the proper steps. Things will not get better for you and your conditions will NOT improve until you follow the law. period.

Brandon Johnson says what ICE is doing is terrible but when stores are broken into and the streets are being taken over, cars being destroyed and on and on you say that’s not criminal and you do nothing, absolutely nothing. Make up your mind, wrong is wrong, you can’t pick and choose. If you did your job of holding criminals accountable and penalizing them, there wouldn’t be constant escalation of crime. Order would be restored in the city. Clearly you do not understand legal vs Illegal or none of this would be happening. You encourage people to break the law always and now you blame ICE for issues that you think are so wrong. You are by far the worst mayor Chicago has ever had.
