TCM & AMC - come with lovely commentaries about each movie and its actors and actresses, beyond the studio hype, up close and personal. Some are even children of old studio heads, producers and directors and those who love the history of cinema so much that they have dedicated their lives to preserving and introducing these gems to a new and future generations. I too LOVE the old movies, but these guys all search back to encompass silent movies and beyond. They dedicate and contribute literally to the physical preservation of each original film reel. Many more old film reels may still be out there in the world and it is up to EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US TO SEARCH, LOOK FOR AND HELP TO FERRET OUT those that have yet to be discovered. Entertainers like Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire practiced tirelessly until it just was not right, but perfect. That dedication is what makes all the sacrifices worth their preservation efforts! I FOR ONE APPLAUD THEM!!!!!👍💕💕💕💕
