Back in the mid-80s we went to Wendy's. My mom got a chili.. Gound a 1" metal screw in her chili. Luckily she saw it before she put it in her mouth. This was pre-sue everyone era. She "ate" it and made such a big, loud deal about how she could have broken her partial or bridge or her real teeth.. Or swallowed it.. The manager came over and gave us a bunch of free coupons for Wendys food. My mom was thrilled with her acting prowess and Im like "you just found a big screw in your food and you just wanted MORE coupons for this crappy food?" Thats when I learned where the MH issues in my family came from.. 3/3 kids have it and atleast 1/2 grandkids have it! The other 2 grandkids were lucky, they adopted!

I can tell you from personal experience the only way that was found in a burger was it was put there after it was cooked in that store and it has markings that can easily be lead back to the exact person who bought it
