Sure it may be staged, but the scenario is too often true. I guess us “old farts” are some of the last folks with manners, compassion and genuine a willingness to help those in need. Remember young people you’ll wish someone will help you when you need it.

I agree 1,000%! I have a disability and I walk with a cane. When I stop at the 7-11 in a town which is in a more upscale neighborhood, people could care less if they hold the door or if it hits me in the face as the scurry off in front of me because of my disability. When I see my doctor that is in a whole other type of neighborhood, there are several men or women that jump up, hold the door and then help me off the curb to get back in the car. Probably doesn't mean much to a lot of people, but it is the little things in life that do make a difference!
