You can literally buy plastic, reusable, washable ice trays at any discount store for around a dollar. There is thrifty, and then there is cheap.
I believe that the ice will stick to the cardboard. it might work for a well washed Styrofoam egg container but not cardboard

That's got to be the dumbest video I've ever seen. Anybody with half a brain (which apparently a lot of people don't have) knows you can't freeze water in a cardboard egg carton. For one, it's full of germs, and two the egg carton would be stuck to the ice cubes after it freezes, not to mention leak right through it. People must really be getting stupid and starving for attention. Good Lord people, can't you find anything good and honest or constructive to post??!!
