Funny. However, I'm sure she was really frightened. My husband tells me about a rooster who attacked him one day while walking down his rural street. He was about 8 and was terrified! We've been married 58 years and occasionally he will bring it up.
Why is she out and about on her own without shoes?
I thought she is being chased by a man and about to abduct her.
Its just a lot of ducks following mommy duck I guess she is scared of them so sorry for the girl being scared sure doesn’t feel good.
it seems mommy pass out at the door, but when she heard her daughter scream, she was trying to wake herself up.🙏

My mother asked to walk to the store for milk and a big white duck jumped a fence and chased me bitting my legs! I ran in the grocery store screaming and the manager ran out and grabbed the duck by the neck and took it to its home and screamed at the owners! He called the police and they told the owners it attacked another kid and will be shot next time it happened! I week later BANG, duck dinner!😆

I am glad that you all saw what looks like a person lying on the porch there. I couldn't tell for sure what I was seeing. I remember an uncle had a goose and whenever we went to visit, it would chase after my younger brother and bit him. He had a good thick diaper on. so that kept him from being hurt, but it was terrifying to him. It made us afraid of geese back then. 😲

lol my grandmother had a mean Rooster who would chase us 4 girls can you imagine the screams my dad got so mad that my gramma let that rooster roam the yard he wrung his neck ! A day later we had chicken and dumplings for Sunday dinner us girls knew nothing about where our dinner came from as we were naive about that stuff

She obviously left the house through a secondary exit. My grandmother was old school, Victorian, and would not allow us to enter or leave through HER front door, bare foot, or with unbuttoned shirt or nightwear. We had to use the front door "looking decent", she would say. Any appearance was OK for the back or side door though. I never understood the rationale.
