Why throw away favorite toy? You can't be there in your costume 24/7 when he needs his favorite toy for comfort. Just like closing the toilet lid so he can't drink water when you are arrested or injured or killed and he's without water for several days or weeks until your loved ones show up. Just keep toilet bowl clean and flushed. it will automatically refill when water level goes down. Unless you have a kitten that may fall in and drown.
