I had a well trained Dane many years ago..when I got him as a pup he had an issue of walking and kids on bikes or this ...cars moving fast beside us..he panicked once and knocked me down when normal training didn't work..I'm handicapped. so I took him to a professional trainer and they kept him for a few weeks and trained him to not panic and pay attention to me and our surroundings...when they brought him back .they trained me..I had a deaf dog when I was a child and had trained him to use eye contact and hand signals . so we put it all together and..and ended up with a great person dog..and his size was perfect for me to walk..he was wonderful..calm and good with normal people around me but he could see the others and would steer me away from them..I miss him. wish I had a dog like him ..I grew up with Dobermans love them..just so hard to find true breeders and not back yard pups with lots of health issues later..
Trying to fing a professionally trained dog when you are disabled is so flipping expensive!!! They make it so that we cannot afford the assistance animals that we need to keep us safe or help with daily needs. On top of that, the waiting lists for the discounts or grants are years long.

I miss my Dobie, my last one was about 10 years ago now. Before that I had one or two at all times through my life. They are wonderful dogs, but due to over breading and just poor breading they have a lot of health problems. It just became too hard having to put down your best friend..
Ridiculous rational for having pets in shopping scenarios. Pets need to stay home. Society believes in humanizing pets, as if they are not animals. If one determines they need their pet to be by their side, then order online.
