This is my boy. He’s been through more than any dog ever should. For years, he was mistreated, ignored, and hurt by the very people who were supposed to love him. You can still see traces of it sometimes — in the way he flinches at sudden movements, or how his eyes search for reassurance even when everything is calm. 💔When I adopted him, he was scared of everything. Every sound, every gesture, even kindness. It broke my heart to think that love — something that should’ve been his whole world —
