I grew up in the Viet Nam war era. In a military family I hated seeing that green sedan on base. I knew what it meant . Now 67 years old I see this video and I feel their pain. You have to of been in a military family to understand the pain we feel
Trump was not at the airport to receive the military brought home in a casket. Not one time. Biden and Obama were there every time.
I am in tears. I am one of those who received a flag. And for awhile I was also a woman who had two beautiful children, and in that time we were able to get help because our country felt the need to help. Now, we have Veterans living on the streets, not getting help from the V.A. they are falling through the cracks and now we have someone back in office who feels ashamed to be around any disabled Veterans. I was fortunate to find someone who cared about me and mind but the depth of the lost never leaves you. I am angry with us as citizens of these UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, a person gives their life to service should be treated with respect. We are erasing names from books, off walls of honor. Too much right now. Oh well, someone said get over it. how can you. It hurts too much.

flags are folded and given at the funeral, not at the door by a guy in duty uniform that's unshaven. Please have more respect and stop with the fake videos.

We lost our son on active duty when their kids were 1, 2 & 3. The 1yo was sitting in my lap so I received the flag for her. My hands are shaking now typing this. The anniversary was Nov 1, and his birthday was Nov 28. No words
I'd bet that all of these videos of fallen soldiers families receiving these flags were made possible by Islamic Muslims in the middle east !!!

Wed Start Seeing More Youngen & Women With Much More Pride Dignity, & Self Respect.But At Age 18 Two Years Required To At Least Be Served.

I remember getting the news. It took my breath away. Vietnam War 1970, Draft! Then the actually funeral. He had just turned 21 years old, never got to vote! Gone, but never forgotten. ❤️😢
These are the saddest of times. But it helps makes us think and remember the soldiers and law enforcement that put theirselves on the line for us every day. It’s to bad people hit the messenger who have to give the bad news.🥹🥹

this feeling is worse than any body can imagine my older brother was living with me when they came to the door to tell him his son my oldest nephew had been killed in iraq...it was the lowest saddest point in our family it shook us all up...

my best friend was watching saving private Ryan. when these scene came up she told her husband if that happens to us I'm not opening the door. 15 minutes later a Chaplin and another member of the army with a flag was at her door. She looked out & froze. her husband told her to answer the door. She just screamed no, no, no, no, no. Her 21 year old son had passed. She is still going through it. God bless these soldiers. 🥰🙏

My husband didn’t fight. He made sure the jets were safe to fly. I lost the love of my life 3 years ago yesterday, but I still cry. 😭 The military service was so wonderful. It warms my heart when I look at his flag. Lost his daughter and son unexpectedly this last year. His brother in Ireland passed a couple of months ago. Wow! I have lost so many Brislanes. 😭
