I would be extremely hurt if my daughter did this to me. Grandma is on the way to help with the birth and her daughter shows up at her house with the baby. Grandma was probably lied to in order to make this video. A woman does not give birth and go home an hour later. This was planned.

It’s unfair to not let your mother be apart of the joy of pregnancy clear up through birth!..So selfish and unkind!!!

Do women not realize that their mothers want to be PRESENT during birth to be supportive and experience their daughters becoming a mom in the moment too 🤷 it seems offensive, unless there's good reason, to intentionally make your mom miss that 🤷 unless it was planned she'd be there and emergency situations happen to quick for her to make it.. but c'mon, why intentionally leave your mother out if she had wanted to be there.

I had my mother there when I had my babies, she was my strength, having her there meant so much I miss both of my parents(my daddy when I was only 12yrs old when he passed and I was in my late 20s when I lost my momma). 💕💕💕

I have seen several videos lately like this. Is it a new trend to break the hearts of moms becoming grandmothers?

To each its own 😂 I'm happy some of yall want to have your mom there for the birth. And I'm happy for both mom and grandma to have that experience. My mom would be patiently waiting at the house, taking tags off the baby clothes, doing our laundry, and cooking food for me and my husband to come home to 😂 my mother wants me and my husband to enjoy that moment for ourselves and that's all I want too. Best advice my mom gave me for delivering is to not tell anyone where I'm delivering lmbo. It's sweet having so many people care but I don't like when people feel entitled to my personal moments. But also I'm super private and so is my mom. Not every family is like that.

I was a military wife and we were going overseas. I had the baby and we drove home for Christmas then not long after we moved to Germany. I flew by myself with a 4yr old and my new baby.

Stand up and welcome your mother in your home. Or take your mother luggage’s from her ! Really these kids today have no manners or maybe not taught manners anymore

please under no circumstances deny your mother the absolute honor of being present to bear witness, an occasion she not only earned but has waited for since your very first period, to her reason, her confirmation, of her place in a world that feels better off without her. Having babies is, by far, the best feeling I've ever had. B ut, having my first grandchild, not only took me by surprise, but taught me how much better life was for me even though I'm getting older. mom's to be out there, only word of advise to you that's worth a dawn, include your mom in EVERY step of your becoming a mom. If not for your mom, do it for the day YOU become grandma. It's like nothing you will ever feel to beat it. Your mom, and your future self, will finally. FINALLY, feel worthy and fulfilled. But, it starts with you...don't deny yourself the absolute best feeling of fulfillment. 💙

My son got married and didn’t tell me he eloped until two months later. It’s his right to get married and not have a wedding or to celebrate any way that he wants but I gotta admit this hurt to my core. My family is so close and keeping this secret was a hurt that two years later is still here. From what I’ve gathered it was a get back to her mom that was on vacation and decided to elope with a long term boyfriend and DIL wanted to get her back so I’m assuming we were collateral damage. Secrets like this can cause scars on the heart that don’t go away. She has every right to give birth with just her husband in attendance but to take away the moment for your mother that we pray about our whole lives is something I’ll never understand
