I worked a few years with a quadrapalegic that used a sling as transport from his room to the toilet/shower and then into the living room. it was a nice set up for him and really made things so much easier. but the house required extensive reinforcement and special training on fire evacuation thru one specific window (still don't understand how that was allowed) and of course there were breakable parts that were regular issues. Great idea, nice to see some creative modifications.
