I don't know what she's talking about, but, I visited Maui, some years back, & was welcomed warmly, wherever we went. Also, we were approached & offered FREE tickets to a play, ABOUT, how the "colonizers landed on their beautiful island, & brought DISEASES, among other things. The theater was BESUTIFUL with a full orchestra..Only about 6 people in there, proof that SOME people just don't want to see TRUTH with their own eyes. If I could have afforded it at the time, I'd be there today..My companions & i were treated, at every venue, as much appreciated. I LOVE HAWAII
Went to Hawaii for Are anniversary and was treated great like family and we stayed on the island of Moloki nothing but locals and yes I'm black wife is black had a great time.
They also call you cousin like you're family. I never had no problems in Hawaii. One of my favorite places and thinking about moving there.
