I remember that study. It was back in the 80s I think. I'm sure it still the same. As long as the government keeps tell the employer and schools and citizens that certain races aren't as good as others, people are going to believe. Some of it is no one wants to be told what they need to do. Some of it is, for their whole life people are taught that some races can't do it on their own, they need help.

what are the variables, what jobs for each, how did they present themselves, how did they speak, how did they apply. theres so many variables that goes into jobs, ones who hold themselves high and show attentivness and show they can remember how to do the job and do it well. unfortunately due to how most african americans are raised they cant properly present themselves, especially as a minority in a predominantly white area. it sucks but its the truth

I don’t feel this is an accurate study when it almost always depends on the way a person presents themselves. Professionalism is important for that reason. Not saying the study is wrong, but just showing statistics and not showing interviews themselves. Leaves things up for debate. I’d like to see the interviews. Can’t agree until I do.
