By law, the minute you ask to see the warrant, they have to produce it. They can't say they have a warrant. And say it's, oh, it's in my car, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no by law. They have to have it on their person and produce it to you, saying that they have a work for your arrest, they can't just say we have a warrant for your arrest and arrest you. They have to have the paperwork.\n Just saying they have a warrant is not good enough. Your own lawyer will tell you that.

This lady was not guilty and was not arrested. She was family friends with Ruby Franke and one of Ruby's kids was staying at her house after school. After Ruby's son escaped Jodys house and found help officers arrested Jody and Ruby and then went on a mad search to locate the rest of her children. This daughter was safe with this couple who had nothing to do with the abuse Ruby and Jody were doing. This daughter was lucky she was safe with this couple.
cops do not cuff you hands up front and if they have a warrant they will use the warant

The officer said he had a warrant but "it's in the car" 🤦♀️I'd say go get it or you had better explain yourself. Even in a possible child endangerment; if I were an officer I'd have all the information I'd need & not be looking foolish. 🤔 If he didn't need a warrant due to the charges then that is what he should have stated.

The trauma that she put this family thru AND I'm Sry but the Mom and I use that word Loosely were convicted of starvation,abuse(Physically & mentally) and child endangerment and so on. Sadly they are very RELIGIOUS & they got this therapist and under her guidance they tortured these 2 small young children the WORST! I saw the police cams and court case and a lot about this Case and I wanted to puke! The fact she had the Mother,father,and 2 small children under her control sooo fully AMAZES Me....STILL! There are 2 teenage children leaving w other family they were not locked away,punished or starved like those 2 tho. ONLY the Mother and Ruby Frank obviously were the the ACTUAL abusers. Y'all should look it up bc it adds CRAZY to a new Level!

All these comments say "show me the warrant"... they actually do NOT have to have one. Exigent Circumstances means law enforcement can bypass the warrant requirement of the 4th Amendment. it's not done lightly, but when exercised, police or CPS can enter your home, seize valuable evidence, and detain/arrest suspects. It's used in situations considered an emergency... when a child's life may be in immediate danger or when there's a risk of evidence being destroyed.
