My Grandmother was a tough, whisky drinking lady who managed to keep her 7 kids alive and well thru the Depression. She had a flock of chickens and when she was gonna cook up some fried chicken, she went outside with a cleaver and a cage. She cut their heads off and then shoved them in the cage because if she didn't, the headless chicken would run around the yard and freak the neighbors out. True story.

The meat we purchase in our stores were bred and raised for that purpose, to feed the masses. People used to eat horse meat, it was good, and lean, and was raised for that purpose, it was graded the same as beef. It's not like people went out and killed just and old animal to eat. people that go out hunting, as long as they aren't just hunting for the trophy, they are hunting it to feed their families, there is nothing wrong with it.

I grew up seeing chickens and rabbits killed Second for food. We never ate as good after we move to a house that did not allow animals. Daddy went deer hunting and would borrow money for half a beef. We never went hungry and there were five of us girls and my parents on one income. We got to go catch little fish at someone’s pond and they were so good. Don’t say anything to me about killing poor Bambi. We never went hungry!!!
It's the cycle of life. There is nothing wrong with catching sea creatures and eating them just like eating chicken, cows and pigs. People also eat Rabbit, Squirrel and Deer. You become accustomed to how you were raised.

kinda interesting. the.comments here how do you think the chicken and beef you buy at Walmart. or the butcher shop get there. they are raised to a age that they are prime food and butchered let's take that a little further for the vegans acres and acres of fine wheat Oats barly and corn are harvested to feed you. the combines cut the stock off. close the the ground. about the same as the butcher shop and beef all this is done to feed all of you make a profit for the farmers the distributors and grocery store let's look at fish. .. they can be fresh caught. or. raise on a fish farm in a foreign country. frozen alive in a ships hold. or a container truck send to the the butcher shop prepaired and shipped to us frozen what you get in the the store you think is fresh. but maybe. 3 months old. when you purchase all of this provides food the masses. without this. you starve. so dont feel bad for the chicken fish or cattle. it what allows you to live
