We feed the deer corn, once a day, at the edge of the woods. They all get their share and we've never had a problem. Dump a 5 lb coffee can away from your house one time a day (morning is best) Never feed them by hand. That's when the trouble can start.

I use to Love seeing Deer 🦌 Feed alongside the road. That is until one tried to comment suicide at 04:30 in the AM and destroyed my car 🚗. It was paid for with over $1,600 in repairs. New battery and new tires! Now the only way I love Deer 🦌 is either on the grill or in Deer chilli 🌶 over rice. 😂🤣😅😆😁😄😃😀

People, people do NOT FEED WILD ANIMALS, especially directly by hand! It might make YOU FEEL GOOD. However, it reduces the wild animals natural fear of humans. That will only lead to further reduction of the self preserving fear of humans. Eventually the bear, the deer or any wild animal will look at any human as food source! Remember the movie about the guy who THOUHT Grizzly Bears were full on Disney Characters? He was killed & eaten by the same bears that he thought were his little forests friends. Please don't do it🙏🏼
Happened to me up by Shasta dam in 1950's.
Use to have a bunch of deer in on my property. They would sneak in and eat the garden so I closed it in a d they tore up to get in. So I started throwing the fruits and veg I didnt want out in the field late at night and they stopped

I live near a wooded srea and deer come into my yard every evening to graze. Sometimes I'll leave out some old cat food kibble crumbs instead of throwing it away. They like that stuff. They let you get close but I dont touch them.
