Why not paint before it gets erected!
Definitely not 2,000 ft more like 100-150ft

there are no towers 2000 ft high.
that's how I like to paint, slop it on.
I did this about 25 years ago. I got taken to a farm with a tower on the property. They said that if I can climb this 100' tower then I can climb anything. Day 1 on a cell tower I paint 200' down. Day 2 they hoisted me up to 400' ( I was definitely scared only being held on to the tower by a carabiner that was connected to my harness). I finished the 400' and 300' on Day 2 and they never heard from me again🤣🤣🤣
My husband dose something similar they be up so high😆😆😆

And the fact that you don’t have to deal with human beings
I have seen electrical towers like this painted in Ca. They usually erect a special frame around the tower and use plastic sheeting around the frame and use a sprayer to paint the tower.
How do people get this job ? I would love doing this .. nobody around you watching over you great views and probably good pay what else could you ask for..
I prefer a 2 1/2” angle brush. I bet it has runs in it.😎
