I know. It’s messed up. They should lower the prices of items such as phones, laptops, shoes that last, car payments, car insurance, cost of living. That way people can focus more on paying for food for their kids. Don’t get me started on child care. Thank you for pointing out that in a capitalistic economy, consumer goods and items needed in our technology advanced civilization are not reasonably affordable for everybody. Looks like there’s a lot more than just a human beings need to eat to live that our government and top corporate businesses of which we work for and buy from to make them wealthy that’s need to be worked on!

Wow... the stupid virus really spread fast through these comments! First of all, almost no one actually pays for their phone up front. We have fairly new phones and only pay about $30 a month for the device. That's $1 / day for you maga mathematicians. Amd most providers offer significant discounts with service contracts. Meanwhile, he's sitting there trying to be judgemental in front of the car he is probably making payments on, which means he doesnt own that either. Being a snap recipient doesn't automatically mean you don't work and just sit around collecting free government handouts. It just means you don't earn enough to be above the limit the government set for household income. Stop drinking the kool-aid.
