we had a siamise that fell off our yacht and did 3 laps around the boat before I could catch her in a net. I fell into an open hatch that I left open while retrieving the not. my wife laughed hysterically. I fell of the boat too. she laughed then also. how I miss her. my wife too.💕

yup I got video of both my kittens swimming they loves taking warm baths, you can tell they were mesmerized by it. I actually have a video of my 4 yr old daughter in the tub and they go in with her it was so cool to watch.
One of straights cats I feed is an orange and he took a role of the leader. Each time the food is serve , he goes around to announced to others and he is the last one to eat. I also tried to offer him my home and he seems to be pleased , but on t he first night broke the wires and window glass and jump out from second floor. But we still remain friends. I wish he was mine but He show me that he have a friends he wants to help.💕

Yes, they can swim. Most just don't like to, though! There was a cat at the beach years ago, and every afternoon at about 4 o'clock he would appear at the water's edge, search the breaking waves for a moment, and then dive in! When he came out, he would have a meal sized fish in his mouth, without fail!

Yes I have my childhood friends grey tabby was obsessed with water, would swim in the pool or play in the sprinklers with us. When we went camping he would swim in the rivers or lakes with us.
I don’t think the cat realized he or she was actually jumping into the water until he or she went in. OR, it was very, very cold.

Never let your cat run free and stuff like this won't happen. Hawks, owls, coyotes won't get them either. They have leash laws for dogs and for picking up after your dog does its business and they should extend those laws to cats too.
