A real soldier wouldn’t be wearing his cover on an airplane!
I'm refusing to call it fake. I was heading home from Ca and we were delayed. People were mouthing off about the delay. I have to confess i was getting edgy about what was causing the delay thinking more about plane having problems. Then 7 soldiers came aboard. I stood up out of respect. Then the woman behind me started to cry. One of those soldiers was her grandson back from Iraq. She never had a clue. There was 7 empty seats behind her. he seen her removed his cap and literally lifted her out of her seat and just stood there holding his grandma. It was my best flight ever. The pilot's delayed a little longer till the people sat down and all the passengers stopped crying and clapping it was awesome. The man next to her gave her grandson his seat and he sat in the back. Something I will never forget.
