I get injections in both my knees twice a year. I don't take a shot for the shot either, just do it.
It is very painful getting a injection to the knee ! I got one to my trigger finger , even the spray didn't numb the Pain ! I just said OH Shit !!!馃槅馃槅馃槅馃槅馃槅

I had a shot in my knee ".馃悡 shot" i thought i was going to say a BaD word.
I get it! I'm older myself. I went to the hospital with a broke arm,it was a Sunday. After the exray, they had to reset my arm. 8th time it's been broke 馃槅. The Dr said, I'm going to put a needle in to block the pain. I've never been given ANYTHING like that previously. Once the needle went in,I've NEVER experienced pain like that in my life! I squiled like a mashed cat! I scream,GD!!! If you don't get that thing out, I'm going to smack it out of your hand as she was twisting the needle. She took it out saying she didn't get enough in there to block the pain. I said, I don't care,it's NOT worse than the pain you were inflicting on me. Sure enough, her and 2 others reset my arm. I just sat there because there was only 1 sharp pain. She gave me an appointment to the orthopedic clinic for screws and metal plate. I wasn't doing THAT. My son cut off the cast 8 wks later. It's fine. She said I'd never be able to use my wrist if I didn't. I said, they didn't do that the other 7 times 馃槅.

Gel injections are that. bad. I get gel shots regularly in knee鈥檚. Barely feel them. But I woman; we are tough when. It comes to pain.
Get enough arthritis in your joints and you'll do anything. The knee can be painful but it's quick. My doc's assistant shoots that freezing stuff while he's injecting the shot.
Oh hell get that shot in the top of foot for pain as it gets wiggled until that medication is released. I can say you'll past the next time instead of enduring that pain.
Oh give him a lollipop on the way out and he will be fine. lol 馃槀馃槅
