my son suffers from schizophrenia which creates a barrier on the relationship i used to have with him. The person he is today at 34 is no longer the person he was the first 20 years of his life. when the system got involved, we the family at home all became worsened with his condition. I can see how his family is saying that. the are un-relatable to his condition or relationship that once was, and that's when you lose it despite wanting to help out of love when there is nothing on the receiving end, on anyone's behalf. so yeah the system is crap π©
