Back then, the audio got out, but not the video. The family had the video. The family were saying they would not release it and, not for sure, said they were going to destroy that video.
He and his gf were idiots who didn't listen to people's advice when he was warned to leave the bears alone. Several game wardens warned him to stop messing with the bears. He believed he was special, and the bears wouldn't do anything to him. But, he was wrong and ended up being eaten alive. Yes, he was eaten alive, and his gf was also eaten alive. The audio you are hearing is fake and was made by using sound effects. The real audio is locked away and will never be released. It is said that the audio is so terrifying that it will haunt your dreams for life. In the real audio, there are sceeams, please, for help, his gf yelling at the bear, and sounds of bones crushing and the bear growling.
Nature can be beautiful and unforgiving at same time. Animals do what nature intends for them to do. If you’re a smart human you need to be ready for anything.

This is very real. This is the first time hearing them scream and listening to the bear huff. The man died that day along with the girlfriend. I can’t remember if they caught the bear and euthanized it or not. The bear was a new bear in that area. There is a documentary of this guy living amongst the bears.
I remember this, he was a self proclaimed bear expert with no real schooling or training on the things. Breaking every rule imaginable designed to keep you safe. I don't feel bad for him, it's his girlfriend,who he convinced it was safe, that I feel bad for.
