An even better hack… put your stack at LEAST Six feet away from your fire pit.

Now why didn’t I think of that?! Years ago I had all that in my yard yet I only stacked in their own little areas instead of thinking of doing this!

Great idea and my dad would've thought of that, growing up on a farm. He had so many special ideas, a great teacher, gentle man but if you got on his bad side, he'd say, " I'm so disappointed "....saying that made you feel sorry for your actions. πŸ’•

That's great, except, IT'S TOO CLOSE TO THE FIREPIT!!! All it takes is one ember from the fire to pop, shoot over on the stack of wood that shouldn't be that close, and start a REALLY BIG FIRE. Many a house fire has started from a popping ember in a fireplace that had no screen in front of it and there goes the house. But the wood stacking is a stellar idea!!!

that works for me! I have a wood stove and my rack holds probably about three times that but I want to woods wood burner outside and I like the simplicity of it since I already buy three to four cords of wood a year
