I was stationed in Somalia many years ago and I’m not exaggerating when I tell that stealing is ingrained in their culture. We were sent to help them build schools and clean water plants and we had to have armed guards on everything and I mean everything. I went there glad that I was part of a construction battalion to help people who needed help but it didn’t take long for me to start hating them. They didn’t appreciate a damn thing we did for them.
Well, at least now I guess they admit that their hijabs and outfits are actually costumes!
