Man I was visiting my bf at the time friends house and they had this blue bull mastiff pit mixed huge ass dog and I mean huge I'm told he nice right so I sit down n he come over and jump up me like his paws on my knees and I start petting him he on me face at my face level and he start growling !!! now everybody had literally just walked into next room right before I started petting the dog ....so here I sit with cujo on steroids in my lap growling . then his growls get louder when dude hears him growling .. he comes around the corner like Zeus get down . Then he like , oh I forgot to tell you if you pet Zeus don't get scared if he growls he always does it especially when he gets excited or happy he proceeds to walk up and shows me that in fact The dog does this . next time say this my dog Zeus He likes to growl when he gets scratches don't freak out....Not leave a bitch in an empty room with him Knowing damn well I'm gone pet him.smh.

I once had a dog come up and let me pet it etc out of the blue it started growling in all my 48years on thos earth I never seen that before
I had a dog that came from a rich white family so it was trained very well. But the reason he was up for adoption was because the owners house got raided and during that they threw a flash bang in the house so the last thing the dog seen was a police uniform. This dog would never hurt a fly but when police were looking for a suspect in our neighborhood the dog snapped and lunged at the officers leg, so that was a 500 dollar ticket, then a week goes by and as we were about to take him for a walk an officer pulls in the driveway to talk about the incident and when the officer took one step out the dog literally snapped his leash off to lunge at the officer again🤦🏽♂️ so by court order we had to give him up to the local pound.

A relative of my ex lived in the Philippines and worked at a dog meat factory and whenever he came to the house, the family dog would stare him down and invade his personal “bubble”. Animals can sense those things. I saw it in person and I’m sure that dog was picking up on something too…🤔🧐
