My German Shepherd woke me up in the early morning a couple of months ago with that low growl. Talk about having the crap scared out of me. Got up real slow (mainly because I thought I was going to puke I was so scared) but once inside lights were turned on, they must’ve run. He’s the best!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

That low growl is his warning my dog does that to let us know that someone is outside but whoever is outside can’t hear him. If they touch the door or window he goes crazy most of the time they run if not got a surprise for them

Believe it or not my cat growls whenever our neighbor is visible! Obviously they ve had a run in at some point! Interestingly my other cat disappeared for one day ! I went to all the neighbors and kept calling his name while driving around the countryside! Got home and he was there !

My cats did the same thing when someone was outside my window! I was in bed and they heard something outside and started growling. They got up and ran to the front door. A minute later, someone knocked on it!
