when someone lives in your home for a long time that's what it looks like when you come back to it that's what you got all that money for was so that whenever you came back to it and it wasn't in that pristine condition that you gave it to them in you got your money for it remember that's why you up charged or you confused about how this works it's called normal wear and tear all homes go through this this is nothing new but you wouldn't know that because all of that money that you up charge then you spent so that you could have someone come and clean your home we don't have that that's why it's not pristine and in the way that you left it because you wanted to charge so much so that they couldn't afford to clean it or pay to have it cleaned
I bet u a 100 it's was "AFRICAN AMERICANS" that lived there just saying from experience
"I use to help with cleaning apartments, and they left this one pretty immaculate馃樃馃ズ"
This kind of damage happens when you don't routinely inspect the property鈥硷笍 Furthermore, it's neglect like this that can also accompany severe cases of child abuse & neglect that should be reported. You fail to understand that these are people You Don't really Know鈥硷笍 How long had these people lived there. Because it seems like a good while. They knew you weren't coming to inspect as long as that rent was getting paid.馃
This is not normal wear and tear. These people were pigs. Thats why it's a good idea to collect rent in person or do an inspection every few months. I count on repainting after every tenant and tile throughout because carpet doesn't hold up.
u gotta paint that's all
Take them to court, take pictures and make them pay.
Use that security deposit that you never planned on refunding!
boohoo paint and get some new carpet like we're supposed to feel bad for the landlord馃槅馃槅馃槅
Anyone that鈥檚 been in the military and InMilitary house and knows you do not do this to your house even though you don鈥檛 own it. You are inspected when you move in and you are inspected when you move out. If I was going to rent to anyone, I would look for anyone that鈥檚 been in the military or still on active duty.
Some of you are sticking up for the tenants, But they actually were living like this DAY TO DAY. 馃馃馃 I truly feel bad for the Children having to grow up in.that filth. And the worst of it they will pass this on to their Children. Tenants be respectful and teach your Children respect.馃馃馃馃馃馃馃馃馃馃
As a landlord for 40 years, seeing that is heartbreaking. I've have great tenants and so.e bad. The last one, 400 square foot apartment, we removed 3000 pounds of garbage after the eviction. She was only there for 2 years. The worst I have ever had. We have had apartments left like that, many with furniture, clothing so on.
So gross people live like that
As a landlord you're supposed to replace the carpet, blinds, damaged appliances, patch holes and paint after every tenant anyway. We're you hoping to be a slumlord and get out of doing your job?!?!? Im confused why you even posted this?
By the looks of the tile on the floor. This whole house needs renovated and updated anyways. That carpet has probably been there as long as that title from the 80's 馃槅馃槅馃槅
some of y'all never let kids be kids and it shows. this is nothing compared to how ppl really leave it
Normal wear and tear? how long was it rented out for?
that's not bad I seen worse
Landlords have a right to inspect their property at anytime with a prior 24 hr notice. Always inspect it or else this is what it'll cost you.
I mean carpet and paint should be changed after every tenant over a year..so quit being a slumlord
carpet paint clean. turn key for the next. thats how they look its not a big deal.
I've seen way worse
seen a million times worse
I repair apartments for My Landlord. AND is pisses me OFF how people dont say ANYTHING about destroyed sinks toilets etc and then EXPECT a deposit return....
All apartments get fresh paint, fresh clean floors, and working everything. Quit complaining. You kept the deposit right? 30 days to get it ready to go.
just need a deep clean normal wear and tear probably been there for 20 years you made your money馃檹
I guess maybe stop renting to dirtbags maybe make your deposit higher screen the people that you're renting to Make visits to make sure they're not disrespecting your property
Exactly why you require an annual inspection. Shame on those people.
I don鈥檛 know the situation but there鈥檚 A LOT of SLUMLORDS out there that are only about the money
I seen way way worst 馃ズ馃ズ馃ズ馃ズ
thank your lucky stars they left it empty
馃槅馃槅馃槅 you're lucky! I've remodeled after section 8 renters..... this is clean compared to what most of them leave it! paint, get rid of the carpet...... you're good!
actually that's pretty good bud
Landlords in Wisconsin have the right to enter their property after giving a 12 hour notice. Do this on a regular basis and maybe it wouldn鈥檛 be this bad.
Not too bad it is still standing, windows appear to be intact, so long as the drains aren't filled with cement you did well 馃憤
Depends on how it looked when they rented this house!
This always amazes me. Every place I have ever lived was better when I left it. Society has no respect for other people's things and certainly no self respect. smh
this is why landlords charge deposits that are HIGH AF if you want your place to be TIP TOP SHAPE then treat your tenants right and also offer a helping hand from time to time otherwise STOP CRYING its normal wear and tear
I ran a mobile home park for 6 years,I've seen a lot of nasty things, this looks better then the way some people left my trailers,
not bad at all, replace the carpet and paint the walls make a few repairs and your good, that's what the deposit is for
I deal with this on a daily basis 馃榿馃榿馃榿this is why I make the big bucks 馃槀馃槀馃槀馃槀馃槀馃槀馃槀馃グ馃槀馃槀馃槀馃槀馃槀馃槀馃槀馃槀馃槀馃槀
Never be a landlord only own real estate to flip it..
That's what that security deposit was for buddy
one reason you never put carpet in rentals
that's what your security deposit is for
I'm a land lord. Seen worse.
that carpet needs to go
Nothing a lil paint can't cover
I've lived in my rented home for 8 years and I guarantee you it does not look like that ever never will...whether it's my own home or rented who lives like that you should have went in yearly when the new lease was signed and did another walk through My home will never be that mess not even behind and under my appliances
I know it sucks but thats what the deposit is for and most of the time you dont get tenants like that but every now and then it happens
that's what the deposit is for. coat of paint and carpet cleaning is normal. one hole isn't really bad.. not taking all your stuff to trash and bugs would be the shit that would kill my vibe
That would just piss me off.
this is why you charge a security deposit.
not me I keep clean like crazy clean, love yard work making things better than when I arrived.
so no inspections馃ズ
take closets out of bedroom and make lease for under a year that way you can not rent to the lazy government assistance kind and not get sued for not renting to them
at least it's mostly cosmetic! Lucky you
WTF? I always treated rentals like my own place.
your still laughing at the end
