At first, I can see the cute factor in having the kid run. But teaching a child to be afraid of the police is not something that you should do.

Back when I was living in Portland Oregon, one spring day, a house on the bus route i was riding on had five cop cars and half a dozen Harley bikes parked out front. It turns out that they were having a barbecue and the vehicles belonged to family members and friends. It only LOOKED like a crime scene. The only crime was that I couldn't get any of that smoked brisket or slow cooked barbecue ribs. It all looked SO DAMN GOOD!

We had a Sheriff’s Deputy friend (some kind of ranking officer), his wife worked with my mom and his son played pop warner football with us. This officer literally wrote THE SHERIFF a speeding ticket…he gave me a written warning for speeding about 1 mile from my house. But, he knew my dad would literally be coming down the same road shortly, coming home from work. So, he stopped my dad and told him. Dad took my driving PRIVILEGES. He still let me drive to school and work, but that was it. He didn’t ground me, but I had to call a ride if I wanted to go anywhere like to play tennis or go to a party. Like, on Friday night, I’d leave my car at my work parking lot and had to get a ride to and from the party.

God forbid, if one day the young boy needs a police officer, and be too afraid to call them. Some parents can be so stupid, here is a good example. 😠
What will dad do or say when in the future his child runs from a police officer for a minor incident and it turns into a felony.
The dad the lived two houses down from us taught his young kid to run when he saw a cop. A few years later the dad got into a fight with his did (the kid’s grandpa). The dad shot his dad with a .30-06. Thinking he had wasted his dad he turned the rifle on himself and took his own life. His dad made a full recovery. The kid was sent off to live with his crazy mother. If any child is dealing with emotional trauma, it’s him. This video made me think of this.

Years ago we had new neighbors. They where black. From Colorado. (We do not have hardly any blacks in our city,cops don't care or mess with them when they see them). A cop rolled up the street just doing a check and man that neighbors kids went every direction but down 😂
Camera person needs to stop drinking having the shakes that bad. Unless they need a fix or something because I know kids that can film more clear than this and a whole lot less shaky.
