My daughter is in the Air Force for 13 years. They always say “Airmen”. She is not offended. I raised her better than that! She is tough with thick skin. Her priorities are God, Family & Country!! She learned early when she served on the Fire Department with me, that it is a male dominated field, and you better get used to it. Women need to work harder than a man in hard stressful situations, because we have to do the same job as a man. This is why she is excelling in everything she does. No whining and moaning about life/work being unfair. Just head down and move forward. We are EXTREMELY proud of her.
