Just buy a 1x12 1x8 facia trex or whatever engineered decking and cut the fit. Cut on a table saw taking your time. And with a helper. Guy is drama

3 ways here, 1 is to remove the smallest board on the end , and shift each plank 1 position. Should give you the extra you need ,or "picture frame" it , 3 just buy a bigger outside piece to cover completely.

add a micro board and let the lip hang over. it will prevent water run off from the underside and prevent damage to the underside and face of the edge
